Seeing your favorite concert, comedy show or the Rockettes on stage has become more inclusive, since Radio City Music Hall announced the completion of a new sensory room.

MSG ENTERTAINMENT

The Chris & Veronica Jackson Sensory Room has adjustable lighting, comfortable seating, calming visuals, bubble walls, Yogibo bean bags, a NunoErin sparkle cube and tactile objects. There is a custom art piece inspired by Radio City’s iconic proscenium arches created by an artist with autism.

The room is fully accessible, including for wheelchair users. It is open to everyone during any performance.

The upgraded sensory room at Radio City is similar to rooms at The Garden and Sphere, which are part of the MSG Family of Companies. It is named after Grammy- and Emmy Award-winning songwriter, composer and actor Christopher Jackson and his wife Veronica Jackson, who made a donation in honor of their son CJ, who was diagnosed with autism in 2007. They are board members of KultureCity, a nonprofit focused on accessibility and acceptance for those with invisible disabilities and sensory needs.
