Dr. Melissa Burruezo, who was the most nominated dentist in Central Jersey in 2015, believes dentistry is an art form—and her masterpiece is a child’s smile. In practice for 18 years, she treats patients for preventive and restorative dentistry in a lighthearted, joyful atmosphere.

Dr. Burruezo alleviates patients’ fears while educating them about nutrition via a mini-science lab, which teaches children how sugar and bacteria cause cavities.

“I want patients to take what they learn here into adulthood,” she says. She treats children of all ages, including those with special needs. An anesthesiologist is available when necessary.

Dr. Burruezo graduated from UMDNJ and completed her specialty training at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. She is a Tri-County Trustee to the NJ Dental Association, on the Board of Health for Tewksbury Township, Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentists and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, and New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
