Shop owner Eleanor Bradley is a schoolteacher and mom who was disappointed in the poor selection of gluten-free cookies available at stores. She started by creating a chocolate chip cookie, and now sells cakes and cupcakes that are gluten-free, sugar-free, keto, dairy-free and vegan.

The meals prepped here are 100 percent gluten-free, plant-forward and organic. Specials change weekly, and can include red lentil paneer saag, broccoli cheddar lentil soup, pumpkin lasagna and a chili bowl. The classics include protein packs, chia pods, a quinoa carrot cake breakfast cookie, “buffins” and butternut squash mac-and-cheese. You can also get immune boosts, elderberry syrup, local raw honey, and pasture-raised eggs.

The owner of the bakery created gluten-free recipes after her 12-year-old daughter was advised to change her diet due to a medical condition. Now, she serves up Japanese-style sweets for the community, such as cookies, cakes, pies and pastries. She uses various non-gluten flours, such as brown and white rice, oat, tapioca, teff, potato, millet, sorghum and arrowroot; organic cane and powdered sugar, brown sugar, organic raw honey and maple syrup for sweeteners; and butter, olive oil and vegan butter (soy free) as fats. The kitchen is peanut-free, and she does not use preservatives, MSG or artificial flavors.

Following a vegan and gluten-free diet herself, she decided to make her mom’s recipes using alternative ingredients. She sells 100 percent vegan, gluten-free and naturally sweetened desserts, like cheesecakes, desserts and special occasion cakes. You can choose the sweetener you want, from monk fruit to organic maple syrup to organic cane sugar.

After founder Carolyn Haeler was diagnosed with celiac disease, and couldn’t find a tasty gluten-free cookie, she gave up her job in finance and started her own company. She offers seven gluten-free varieties, including vegan and vegetarian cookies, as well as three gluten-free flour mixes, all certified gluten-free and kosher, as well as non-GMO.

The Savories Menu includes vegan sausage egg n’ cheeze, ham n’ cheeze croissant and a buttermilk biscuit. Cookies and bars are flavored with Funfetti, raspberry shortbread and s’mores.
