Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Joseph Napolitano strives to put his young patients at ease and takes time to understand every child’s needs. He cares for patients using state-of-the-art treatments for ocular misalignments and eye movement disorders.
“We make sure both children and parents understand the condition and treatment plan to eliminate the fear that comes with having to see an eye doctor,” he says.
Dr. Napolitano earned his MD from RWJ Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at New Jersey Medical School. He completed a fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Napolitano is pleased to announce his recent academic appointment to the Department of Ophthalmology at the new Seton Hall Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. He will be creating curriculum in pediatric ophthalmology.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Napolitano is an attending physician and clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at several prominent NJ hospitals.
