It’s time to get excited for fall fun and there’s nothing more enjoyable than attending a great Oktoberfest celebration, especially when it’s family-friendly! This fall, Oktoberfest will return to Morey’s Piers in Wildwood for four consecutive weekends of German-themed revelry. Kids will enjoy the “Rootbier Garten,” live entertainment and much more.
The festivities kick off Friday September 17 at 5:45 pm with a ceremonial keg tapping and a full line-up of bands will take to the Coca-Cola stage at Mariner’s Pier near the Giant Wheel during the weekends. Musical performances will happen Fridays 6:30 – 10:30 pm, Saturdays 1- 5 pm and then again from 6:30 – 10:30 pm and on Sundays from 1 – 4 pm.
Parents can look forward to some ice-cold draft beer at Wilhelm’s Bier Garten plus plenty of German fare to feast on including giant Bavarian pretzels, brats, roast chicken and more. Jumbo’s Grub & Pub will offer a selection of foods including schnitzel, potato salad and more, plus a wide selection of beers and seasonal cocktails.
On Mariner’s Pier families will find candied and caramel apples plus other sweet treats like pumpkin funnel cake.
Over at the kids zone, a “Rootbier Garten” will feature a pumpkin decorating station and more fun.
