Glen Rock was the top town in Bergen County, thanks to its many stellar schools—consistently ranked among the best in New Jersey—picturesque tree-lined streets and things to do with the family. Think an arboretum, nature trails, bike paths and a charming downtown. Clinton in Hunterdon County is one of the most affordable in the state according to our algorithm. Chatham took the #3 ranking for Morris County overall, only being topped by Mendham Twp. and Harding.
