Whether that special meal comes via curbside pickup or delivery, Sunday is all about not having to cook!

While Mother’s Day brunch is a staple, this year’s holiday will have to be celebrated while following social distancing rules. These restaurants are making special meals you can order for either curbside pickup or delivery. Place your order ASAP—Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 10.

100 Ocean
Long Branch
Set the dinner table after you choose from this four-course menu. Start with a baby spring green salad, followed by sun dried tomato arancini, then choose from entrees like prosciutto-fontina stuffed chicken breast, eggplant rollatini and pan-seared duck breast. Finish it all off with your choice of dessert, like raspberry mousse lemon cake, bruleed cheesecake or a chocolate glazed nutella mousse dome. Pick up a Mother’s Day Brunch Meal Kit and create your own gourmet farm to table meal. The kit, which feeds six people, comes prepared and just needs to be heated. It also includes a make-your-own salad kit for kids. Inside the kit you’ll find an asparagus frittata, two dozen sun dried tomato and spinach ravioli in tomato gouda sauce, a dozen meatballs, six bagels, a quart of strawberries, a salad kit, a half-gallon of cider, a half-gallon of orange juice and a fresh baked pie (choose from chocolate creme, fruits of forest or lemon meringue). $129.99/kit. The kit can be ordered online and orders must be placed by Thursday, May 7. Pickup and delivery are available May 9 or 10

Choose between Virginia ham, roast leg of lamb, turkey breast, prime rib, roast pork loin or chateaubriand. Dig into apps like cold or hot antipasto, clams casino, stuffed mushroom, stuffed artichoke and eggplant rollatini. Add courses like chicken parm, stuffed shells, penne vodka and sausage and peppers. All meals come with a house salad, garlic bread, mixed seasonal vegetables, oven roasted fingerling potatoes and a dessert of cannolis and pastries. Call 201-652-0201 to order by Friday, May 8. This catering company will deliver brunch, lunch, dinner and other a la carte options—plus flowers! Brunch dishes include chocolate filled croissants, belgium waffles, chicken francaise and asparagus and mushroom quiche. Lunch and dinner meals include north Atlantic lobster tail, mushroom risotto and caprese skewers, plus chocolate cupcakes and New York style cheesecake. This catering company is offering brunch options like grilled salmon filet on cucumber ribbons served with fresh herb sauce and an asparagus, spinach and gruyere frittata, plus dessert options like chocolate mousse with chocolate chunks. $52/person, four person minimum. Orders can be placed online by Friday, May 8 at 8 pm. Pickup will be Sunday, May 10 from 11 am-4 pm.

Maggiano’s is celebrating Mother’s Day with a five course meal four featuring mini meatballs, caesar salad, chicken piccata, mom’s lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, garlic roasted broccoli and a dessert sampler featuring mini Gigi’s Butter Cake, mini New York Style Cheesecake and chocolate zuccotto bites. Orders can be placed online for either curbside pickup or delivery via DoorDash. $95/bundle. Orders must be placed 12 hours in advance and can be picked up between Friday, May 8 and Sunday, May 10. Alcohol can be added to orders.

Choose from Nova Scotia halibut and spinach gruyere or balsamic chicken milanese and risotto with asparagus (and other options!) before digging into desserts like carrot cake, pull-apart cinnamon rolls, vanilla bean cheesecake stuffed with french toast or giant streusel sour cream coffee cake muffins. Curbside pickup is available on Saturday, May 9 between 3 and 4 pm.

The family style menu serves four and offers a salad, entree, two sides and assorted desserts. Think caesar, kale, caprese or mixed greens for your salad, then choose between entrees like roasted chicken, pan seared salmon, BBQ ribs and filet mignon. Sides range from garlic mashed potatoes to truffle parm gnocchi. The couple’s dinner includes one appetizer, two entrees and one dessert, plus a complimentary salad. Appetizers range from fried calamari to a triple meat flatbread and choose from three entrees: T-bone steak, veggie ravioli and salmon before settling on a dessert (orange creamsicle, tiramisu or carrot cake). Pricing includes a bottle of wine for couples. Wine, prosecco and beer are also available.
