Berkeley Swim School

“Baby and Me” classes start at six months old. Water orientation (ages two and up) is an active 30-minute class that teaches little fishes kicks, basic arm strokes  and blowing bubbles. 

Elite Gymnastics

Lessons are available for infants four months to a year old in the safety-centric “Polliwog” program. Fishies-in-training (one to three years old) learn to swim with a parent close by before graduating to “Tadpole School,” where they hammer down the basics and perfect their stroke.

The “Baby and Me” program here gets your little fish comfortable in the water by teaching him how to blow bubbles and get his face wet in small, semi-private classes. 

KimSwim Pool Academy

Toddlers adjust to the water by using flotation devices, going underwater and getting in and out of the pool alone.

Pint-sized swimmers get used to the pool with Mom on call in the “Parent and Child” class, where they go underwater and splash around (of course).

Babies learn to control their breathing by putting their heads underwater in “Water Babies I” (ages six–15 months old) with you by their side. In “Water Babies II” (ages 16–30 months old) they learn to move in the water.

In the "Skippers" parent/child classes for ages 6 to 16 months old, children learn basic water skills through developmentally appropriate songs and games. Classes are 30-minutes long.

She gets used to everything splish-splash in this “Mommy and Me” class with fun, musical games designed for your mini-me six months and older.
