Water park lovers it’s time to rejoice! After being closed for more than 20 months, Splashdown Beach Water Park is set to reopen. SplashDown Beach, known as “America’s Biggest Little Water Park” will reopen Saturday May 29 just in time for some wet and wild Memorial Day fun.
“We couldn’t be more excited to reopen,” said Steve Turk, the park’s owner. “It has been challenging, but we’re ready to bring Summer fun back to the Hudson Valley”. SplashDown Beach closed for the season in September of 2019 and has remained closed due to COVID.
“In addition to being the #1 family destination for Summer fun, we look forward to providing much-needed jobs to area residents whose employment was affected by the pandemic,” says Chief Operating Officer Andrew Chafatelli. Job seekers can apply online at splashdownbeach.com or visit the park on weekdays between 3 and 5 pm for on-the-spot interviews.
SplashDown Beach features fun for all ages, from toddlers to thrill-seekers. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the park is located in Fishkill, New York, 60 minutes north of NYC. The park has undergone $25 million in expansion and capital improvements and is a clean and safe environment for the whole family to enjoy. SplashDown is also known for its great food, with options including Cosimo’s pizza, Nathan’s Famous, Frosty Shack, Waffle Hut and more. Daily and season passes are available.
