New Jersey is host to a number of kite festivals throughout the year. These giant inflatable kites in the shapes of animals, mermaids, aliens and other figures can be seen for miles as they fly high into the sky above the ocean. The events also have lots of kids’ activities – like making your own kite – super-sized giant bubbles, merchandise sales and live music. You’ll wish for a windy day so your kids can see all the high-flying action in person!
