BERGEN COUNTY

Kids ages 4-12 can get their wellness on at this Bergen County studio. Instructors make teaching flexibility and strength fun and age-appropriate with animal imitations, music, storytelling and games. Kids are sure to get attention thanks to the 10 person cap per class.

Be sure to ask about Family Yoga, an all-ages class for you and your kiddo, and teen classes that specialize in breathing and meditation. Bonus? Her first class is free.

A studio exclusively for kids, this spot has your budding yogi covered from 18 months through teenhood. In Buddah Babies (18 months-3 years), you’ll get to help him breathe and work on calming poses. Omies (ages 4-6) will get to work on poses and inspire her creativity. Namastes (ages 7-10) can work on postures and meditation, or sign up for Yoga Meets Science (ages 7-13), a STEM workshop that combines yoga with hands-on experiments. Tween Zens (ages 11 and up) will role play and breathe their way through advanced poses and inversions.

HUNTERDON COUNTY

Your six pack of classes is super flexible, as they don’t need to be taken consecutively and are good for 8 weeks. MONMOUTH COUNTY

Start them off in Alluem Little Kids (ages 4-6) with yoga poses, storytime, crafts and music with an emphasis on kid-friendly breathing and self-awareness. Alluem Kids (ages 7-9) adds writing, asana yoga poses and meditation exercises to the mix before reaching Alluem Tweens (ages 10-12), which will teach them partner poses, yoga games, empathy and flexibility. Kids ages 4-10 can also take part in family yoga, a light class that’ll make for quality time and bonding.
