The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia will be hosting “Jurassic World: The Exhibition” starting this November. The exhibit will stay open through April of 2017. These stunningly scary dinosaurs made their debut last March at Australia’s Melbourne Museum.
This event is meant to be an immersive experience. Guests will wander through the Isla Nublar park as the cast did of the Jurassic World film. The public is welcome to venture through the many exhibits and informational guides, but the highlight of “Jurassic World” is the life-size animatronic dinosaurs!
These huge creatures, created by Creature Technology Company, were designed with fossils in mind, so these are seriously lifelike displays.
Face off with a T-Rex or a Velociraptor. If your kid liked the movie, don’t miss the Brachiosaurus (the giant herbivore that sneezed dino snot on the stars of the film!).
Little scientists will love The Creation Lab, too, where they can get a peek at the science behind dinosaur DNA.
Presale registration is now open and individual tickets go on sale September 10. Group tickets are available now at $23.95 for adults and $17.95 for children. Get more info at franklininstitute.com
