STARBUCKS

Throughout the pandemic, our front line and healthcare workers have remained constant source of strength. They risk their lives each day to keep our communities safe, and this December Starbucks wants to thank do something to show their appreciation for the front line workers and their efforts by gifting them free coffee.

Throughout the entire month of December, first responders and front-line medical providers are welcome to pick up a tall Starbucks coffee, hot or iced, at no charge. Eligible workers include doctors, nurses, fire fighters, EMTs, law enforcement, and many more. To confirm your eligibility, check out the offer here

The Starbucks Vice President of Global Social Impact, Virginia Tenpenny said in a press release, “We want to show our deep gratitude for those who support and protect us every day with a small gesture of kindness and a cup of coffee.”

This promotion is one of many ways that Starbucks is supporting the healthcare community in 2020. The company has donated $100,000 to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, which will work to support healthcare workers who are in need of mental health resources.  To date, Starbucks has provided over 2 million free cups of coffee to first responders, and in the spirit of the holidays it plans to send gift cards and care packages to front-line workers across the country.
