About Deerfield Township

Charming family-owned and operated farms span this 18 square mile township in Cumberland County, peppered with a range of parks and open spaces. This rural gem has plans to expand and grow, but treasures its current quality of life: a close-knit town abuzz with activity.

Residents can play doubles at Frank LoBiondo Sr. Park’s refurbished tennis courts, play baseball on the open fields or hit the asphalt for street hockey. Hit one of the other three parks, like Carmel Park, to shoot some hoops or monkey around on the playground.

Teens spend their adolescent years at Cumberland Regional High School in Bridgeton, where they can choose to participate in academy programs, which focus on certain fields like agriculture, biomedical life sciences, justice studies and more.

Each holiday brings a new festivity, like the annual Harvest Festival amusements, parade and fireworks, or Breakfast with Santa at Christmastime and the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
