We already love the South Jersey amusement park Diggerland USA for its really cool construction-themed rides and drivable trucks and steamrollers. And next year, the only NJ adventure park of its kind will be even better with a huge water park.

The Water Main, a two-acre aquatic play zone with two multi-zone pools is slated to open Memorial Day weekend of 2020. Think a slide tower, inflatable challenge course, in-pool basketball area, splash park and leisure swim zones. And while the kids are splashing, you can chill on deck chairs and in lawn areas too (or rent a private cabana), plus grab food and drinks from nearby.

“With the opening of The Water Main, we now offer two distinct parks for one great price,” said Ilya Girlya, co-owner/co-president.

After its grand opening, The Water Main will be open in the summer during the same hours/days as Diggerland. Which means you can enjoy the fun on weekends, holidays (and when school isn’t in session) from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Admission to the aquatic park will be included in regular Diggerland admission. In addition, you can also book birthday party packages and group tickets.

And if you haven’t been to Diggerland, you’ll want to explore its courses with construction and utility vehicles that you and the kids can drive, plus stationary excavators (those big digger trucks!). Don’t miss the cute construction carousel or the big full-sized rides like the Spin Dizzy, where you can sit inside the scoop of a machine and hold on as it spins in circles.

There’s also a big ropes course, a huge climbing and rock wall and the kids’ playground. Your daredevils can try the two-seat zip line and if you need a break, hang out in the arcade.

Adults can also visit Diggerland XL, where they can try their hand at maneuvering some life-size construction equipment.

(Hint: Check their website on Black Friday and Cyber Monday for the lowest rates of the year!)

Diggerland will be open every weekend for the rest of the season, including for its fall-themed Diggerfest (until October 27) and Winterfest (until the end of 2019). In 2020, the park will open on March 14.
