About Northfield
Seven miles west of Atlantic City and dubbed the “gateway to the shore,” this 3 ½ square mile town in Atlantic County is a flurry of activity.
Go back in time at the Northfield Museum for insight into the town’s 200 years of fashion, toys and more, including homes like the Casto House, one of the town’s oldest establishments.Conveniently located near Birch Grove Park, 15 minutes from Atlantic City’s beaches, malls and casinos, this family-friendly suburb is proud of its community, which celebrates numerous annual events like the town’s yearly July 4th parade and the summer concert series at the Bandstand in Birch Grove Park.
When you find yourself craving Italian, park it at Carluccio’s Coal Fired Pizza, a mod-rustic BYOB with a plethora of pie options cooked at more than 1,000 degrees, like Grandma’s pizza recipe, which was passed down from the owner’s grandparents.
