You’ve seen the movies, and so have your kids. But your family will be able to take prehistoric adventure to the next level at Jurassic World, a touring live arena show coming to the Tri-State Area (including Newark) this weekend.
The arena will resemble the dense jungles of Isla Nublar from the “Jurassic World” movie, where real Gyrospheres roll through the valley and scientists work to unravel a corrupt plan and save a new dinosaur from a terrible fate. Against a backdrop of lush jungle scenery, dinosaurs from the iconic franchise, including fan-favorite Velociraptor Blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length, take center stage. The production features more than 24 film-accurate, life-sized dinosaurs operated by animatronics and performers.
Tickets are on sale now starting at $15.
The next stop will be Prudential Center, 25 Lafayette St., Newark: March 3 at 7 pm; and March 4 and 5 at 11 am, 3 pm and 7 pm.
