Mega popular children’s singer Laurie Berkner (a New Jersey resident!) is putting on a special, one-night invite-only concert at Edelman Fossil Park & Museum – and we’re giving away a family 4-pack of tickets to the show.
New Jersey Family is partnering with Edelman Fossil Park & Museum for the giveaway. The museum is holding a celebration on May 30 in honor of International Dinosaur Day (celebrated on either the third Tuesday in May or June 1st) and invited Berkner – a Princeton native – for an exclusive performance of her hit “We Are the Dinosaurs” as well as other faves.
The winner will also get some fun merch, including a cape towel and three dinosaur plush toys.
While you’re at the museum, check out the galleries and exhibits dedicated to dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures that lived in and around New Jersey 66 million years ago. You’ll see dino skeletons and replicas, a Monstrous Seas Gallery, and the Hall of Extinction & Hope.
There’s a Marty the Mammal storyboard series for the littlest of dino lovers, an Explorer Key that unlocks different activities along the way, a fossil search via video screen, a virtual reality game for teens, and the Discovery Forest play area.
A huge hit outside is the quarry, where you can dig for real fossils to take home, and the Pterosaur Pterrace playground.
