Getting your COVID-19 vaccine may cause a little “ouch,” but Krispy Kreme is making things a little better with an amazing promotion that will have you saying “ahhh!” The company is giving out free donuts to anyone who shows their vaccination card – any time, any day, even every day for the remainder of 2021 in the US — pretty sweet! If you weren’t already motivated to get vaccinated this is definitely a delicious incentive.
Krispy Kreme has already given away more than 30 million donuts to healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, coaches, graduating seniors and more during the pandemic and now they want to reward us for getting the vax. The offer is for a free Original Glazed doughnut, limit one redemption per guest per day.
“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer.
If you’re not able to get the vaccination just yet, don’t worry. You can still score a free donut and free medium coffee every Monday March 29 through May 24 at Krispy Kreme locations in the US. Krispy Kreme says it’s their way of helping Americans get their week off to a good start during these tough times – no purchase necessary.
Krispy Kreme will also be delivering free donuts to vaccination centers throughout the country in the coming weeks and giving its own employees up to four hours of paid time off so they can go get the vaccine. The company will also be launching “Be Sweet Weekends,” offering guests who purchase any dozen an additional “Be Sweet Dozen” to safely share with a friend or neighbor for just a buck. The Original Glazed dozen with a special smiley-face doughnut will be available for nine consecutive Saturday‑Sundays, March 27 through May 23.
