Winter Storm Jonas Heads Towards NJ This Weekend: What Should You Expect

The snowfall totals may be smaller than initially predicted in our area, but this storm could make a big mess in other ways.

The National Weather Service has released the latest details on this weekend's impending storm, Jonas. Make sure to check back periodically, as predictions continue to change.

While we've been hit with a few flurries so far this winter, the storm heading our way now is likely to bring high winds and some major coastal flooding along with it.

They've issued a "Winter Storm Watch" across the state that goes into effect late Friday evening and will last into Sunday, as this possible nor'easter comes barrelling into our area with up to 60 mph winds. Sand barriers are being built along the shore, in anticipation of the major flooding that this storm may cause.
