Where to Trunk or Treat in New JerseyHave you been to a Trunk or Treat? These fun events have kids trick-or-treat from car to car instead of house to house!  Some also have other fun activities, refreshments, best costume and best trunk contests, parades and more!

Here's where to go to Trunk or Treat in New Jersey:

Saturday, October 26

Basking Ridge: At the Somerset Hills Lutheran Church from 1 to 3pm. There will also be prizes for best costumes and best vehicle decorations, as well as stories, games and crafts.

Dunellen: Join the fun in Washington Park until 5pm, after the Halloween Parade which begins at 1:15pm. There will also be music and Best Costume and Best Trunk awards. 

Netcong: From 5 to 8pm at the Netcong Train Station and includes a parade, scarecrow and costume contests, dancing and a DJ.

South Plainfield: For South Plainfield families. From 3:30 to 5:30pm in the High School parking lot; attendees should park at the Middle School. Music and snacks will also be available.

Waterloo Village: From 7 to 9pm, free admission and there's candy, cider and storytelling; $5 parking fee.

Sunday, October 27

Bridgewater: At the Bridgewater United Methodist Church from 3 to 5pm. The event will also have hot dogs and drinks.

Metuchen: There's a parade at 2pm, followed by the Trunk-or-Treat until 4pm. Children will "trunk-or-treat" around the Pearl Street parking lot and then go back to the Metuchen Senior Center for photos, music and balloon artist entertainment.

Thursday, October 31

Manahawkin: At the Manahawkin Mart from 5 to 7pm, in addition to car trunks the merchants will be in costume and participating, too.

Friday, November 1

Rahway: At the Union County Performing Arts Center from 6:30 to 7:30pm, there will be a costume parade and awards for best costumes and best trunk.
