Today is the first day of spring, and what better way to celebrate than with some sweet treats – that are free?!
Dairy Queen’s Free Cone Day gives you and the kids a chance to enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone.
If Italian ice is more your thing, head to your local Rita’s for a free ice. The chain has been kicking off spring with free treats for more than 25 years. You’ll get a free 6-ounce ice in any flavor; it’s a good time to try their newest creation, Skittles.
There are some discounts going around, too. Dunkin’ is offering $2 off Dunkin’ Refreshers today, and you can try some iced coffee hacks by playing with springtime menu options. Or visit Jamba Juice from 2-7 pm to get a Mangomorphosis or Dragonberry Blitz Over Ice Beverage for only $1.
Although this isn’t spring related, Buffalo Wild Wings is offering BOGO Free boneless wings tonight when you order takeout or delivery so you can watch your March Madness b-ball games at home.
And although this isn’t food related, Asbury Park is celebrating the Spring Equinox with a Color & Light Festival on Friday and Saturday, where you can watch spectacular images projection-mapped onto the Paramount Theatre. Tickets are free; just show up at the beachfront area from 7:30 to 11 pm either night.
Then mark your calendars for April 8, which is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s. Stop by your local ice cream stand from 12-8 pm for a free scoop.
