If you've been looking for a cruise to take with the family, there’s a new kid-friendly sail sure to make everyone happy. Carnival Horizon just announced plans for Dr. Seuss Waterworks, an onboard waterpark. Your crew will get to fly down two giant slides, appropriately named The Cat’s Hat and Fun Things. The kiddos can race side by side, spray each other with water toys and get soaked under the giant tipping top hat. The Horizon is still being built, but we’re guessing it’ll be well worth the wait.
If you’re looking get away ASAP, Carnival’s other ships already have some Cat in the Hat fun. Seuss at Sea is a special onboard activity included in your stay that features all things Seuss. It’s aboard tons of Carnival ships, including the Breeze, Dream and Glory. Kids will get a kick out of this new experience and activities just for them.
Seuss-A-Palooza Story Time brings their favorite stories to life and even gets them involved. Venture through Bookville, an eccentric library full of Seuss-like contraptions and fun. You’ll get nostalgic, too, watching the parade of characters process through the ship (kids will love parading along with them!). Bring an empty belly to the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast, where your crew will feast on crazy meals like funky French toast with a side of Goose Juice.
Carnival travels everywhere from Mexico to the Bahamas to Alaska, but be sure to check the site to see if Seuss is on the ship you’re looking to reserve. There are plenty of deals to investigate when booking, too.
