Juniper Hill

You’re going to want to check out this old bank-turned-restaurant located in Annandale. Juniper Hill is a hotspot for high-end dishes at affordable prices. Host a party in the converted vault or hang at the bar that used to be the drive-up teller. They support local farms, fisheries and more with their American-style menu. Be sure to try their grilled wild East Coast halibut with a tasty signature cocktail.

Kimchi Smoke Montclair

Robert Cho is finally bringing his beloved Kimchi Smoke to Montclair. If you haven’t experienced Korean fusion yet, now’s your chance! Gather all of your hungry friends and get yourselves a Chonut, a barbeque sandwich with a glazed donut bun! Texas-style BBQ with Korean flavors creates a best-of-both-worlds experience guaranteed to make your taste buds explode.

Yoga in the Garden

Grab your girlfriends and leave the kids at home to experience some free OM in the Van Vleck Gardens. This gratis event is perfect for some R&R. Be sure to bring your own mat because you’ll be laying in the grass in this beautiful outdoor setting.

Bikes and Beers FLYING FISH 2017

This is a whole new way to bar hop! Put on your helmet and choose either a 15- or 30-mile trip celebrating NJ craft brewer, Flying Fish. After the ride, bikers receive a pint glass, koozie and two beers while they enjoy live music, food trucks and more.

July 8 & 9

Maplewoodstock Music & Arts Festival

This two-day festival is packed with different local bands and performers. Come hungry and chow down on something scrumptious from the 20+ food vendors, or just bring your own picnic lunch. Visit the beer garden for a taste of unique beers, wines and sangrias. FYI: there’s only one small parking lot, so you may have to park on the street if you get there once it’s full. Or, take public transportation to Maplewood Train Station.

Foodie Nightlife Experience

Come hungry to this monthly event that features over 20 food vendors from NJ and NYC. All food (and drinks!) offered are $5 or less, making this a must-attend for foodies. Hang out, listen to a DJ and get stuffed while supporting local restaurants at an affordable price.

Cheers in Chester Wine & Beer Festival

A ticket to this adults-only festival will get you unlimited samples of over 100 different craft beers and wines. This annual fundraiser for the Chester First Aid Squad also features live music, great food and, of course, cocktails.

OceanCares Clam Bake

Take a break from the beach and dive into some fresh seafood to benefit Ocean Mental Health Services. Money raised helps the organization provide services to local families in need. Available to 21-and-uppers, tickets get you access to the clam bake buffet and BBQ, open bar and live music.

Till Death Do Us Part Mystery Dinner
