We know you swore off sweets as a New Year’s resolution but it’s Girl Scout Cookie time so all bets are off, amirite? One Girl Scout from North Jersey is hoping her genius marketing skills will convince you to have it when her cookies go on sale.

Liliana Testa, a 9-year-old from Denville, just launched her third music video to push sales  of faves like Thin Mints and S’mores.

While her Dad filmed Lily and their dog Teddy, she sang her own version of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up,” (cutely titled “Never Gonna Give Them (Cookies) Up.”).

For all you people who grew up in the 80s, the revamped lyrics go like this:

We’re no strangers to cookies
You know the flavors and so do I
A box of Thin Mints is what you’re dreaming of
You wouldn’t get these from any other girl
I just want to show you what I’m selling
Gotta make you understand
You’re never gonna give them up
They’re never gonna let you down
I’ll always be here to serve you
Cookies gonna make your day
So make sure you don’t delay

Liliana is a Junior Girl Scout with Troop 98238. She has been scouting for 5 years, and this is the third year she made a music video to help increase her sales. She previously created “Cookies, Cookies” to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York,” and “Cookie Hero” to the tune of Taylor Swift’s “Antihero.”

“It was something that we both brainstormed together,” her dad Andrew tells New Jersey Family. “We know that around this time there are a lot of Girl Scouts selling cookies so we wanted to come up with a fun way to stand out from the crowd. It has turned into this really fun father-daughter activity we do every year together – from picking the song to writing the lyrics to filming and editing the videos together. It has become a special tradition for us and something our friends, family and coworkers have started to look forward to seeing every year.”

Although Lily didn’t know Rick Astley, Andrew said she had heard the song before and “loved that you can dance to it.” The music videos have led her to sell 200 boxes of cookies the past two years. This year, she hopes to sell 500.
