5K Run/Walk in Ridgefield Park to Benefit Local L.E.A.D. Program for Kids

Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence (L.E.A.D.) is having its inaugural 5k Run/Walk. L.E.A.D. teaches students about the dangers of drugs and violence. The race will start on Challenger Road, where participants will run or walk their three miles to the finish line. Race registrants are encouraged to make teams to receive an award for the highest raising team.

Open to the public for both two- and four-legged family members, watch racers engage in several runs, including the 5K, where dogs can run alongside their owners. The event benefits It’s A Ruff Life Rescue and is also one of the only 5K trail races halfway between NYC and Philadelphia that is 95% single track. Attendees who are not running can meet the adoptable dogs, relax in the beer and wine garden and have their pup run the dog agility course.
The Falling Leaves! Workshop
