Small Business Saturday at the MHC
When: 11/28, 12-5pm
Where: Clark House, 108 Orange Rd, Montclair
The Montclair History Center invites you to their second Small Business Saturday at the Clark House. Shopping selection includes Montclair-centric books, mugs, enamel pins, NJ potholders, 19th amendment items, cookbooks, personalized maps and fun stocking stuffers.

Poppy from Trolls Visits Imagine That!!!
When: 11/28, 12pm
Where: Imagine That!!!, 4 Vreeland Road, Florham Park
Poppy from Trolls will be here to greet children. Guests are required to wear masks and follow guidelines. The facility has 16,000 square feet of space 24-foot ceilings with a new ventilation system.

A Frank Sinatra Christmas Starring Michael Martocci
When: 11/29, 3pm & 7pm
Where: Count Basie Center for the Arts, 99 Monmouth Street, Red Bank
Celebrate Frank Sinatra’s 105th Birthday with A Frank Sinatra Christmas starring Michael Martocci along with Dean Schneider & The Ol’ Blue Eyes Orchestra and special guest comedian Jeff Norris. The Vogel performance space will have social distancing measures in place.

ALL WEEKEND

Rock and Mineral Weekend
When: 11/27-11/29 12-4:30pm
Where: Morris Museum, 6 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown
Shop for treasures with top area mineral, gem and fossil dealers. Hundreds of specimens, books, jewelry and more (including overstock from the Morris Museum collection) will be offered for sale.

Winter Village at Red Mill Museum
When: 11/27-11/29, 12-5pm
Where: 56 Main Street, Clinton
This three-day German-style outdoor winter craft market in the heart of Clinton features over 40 local craft artisans, vintage peddlers and food trucks each day.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
When: 11/26, 9am-12pm
The parade is back in a whole new way, reimagined to kick off the holidays safely. Tune in to NBC to enjoy huge balloons, fantastic floats, big stars and of course Santa Claus.

BAMkids Film Festival 2020

In this virtual program of gentle, colorful animated films curious animals and adventurous kids alike sing, grown up, fly high and celebrate the magic of life in all its lovely rainbow colors.

Virtual Visits with Santa

Paramus Park is ready for you to reserve your time to visit with Santa from the comfort of your home and you can even add on Storytime with the Clauses to your session.

Crafting with Mrs. Claus
When: 11/29, 10am-12pm
Mrs. Claus is preparing a fun craft activity for your kids! Register to reserve your free kit for this Facebook event. Kits are available for pickup at Pottery Barn Kids located in MarketFair, 3535 US Highway 1, Princeton.

She Persisted, The Musical
When: Now-1/21
In this virtual production of the Atlantic Theatre Company’s show for young audiences, based on Chelsea Clinton’s best-selling book, fourth-grader Naomi’s field trip to a Women’s History Museum turns into a time travel adventure where she encounters inspirational women overcoming barriers and making waves.

Kids Euro Festival

Now in its 13th year, Kids Euro Festival is one of the largest performing arts festivals for children in America, bringing some of Europe’s most talented children’s entertainers to us. This is a virtual festival, and all programs are free.

Native Cinema Showcase

The National Museum of the American Native Indian’s 20th anniversary showcase will be online this year, featuring new films, fan favorite classics and conversations with filmmakers.

Skating on the Square

Where: Palmer Square, Hulfish Street, Princeton
Palmer Square’s outdoor, eco-friendly synthetic skating rink is back for another holiday season. Bring your own skates or rent a pair.

Photos with Santa at South Court
When: Now-12/25, 11am-7pm, 9am-5pm on 12/24
Where: Paramus Park, 700 Paramus Park, Paramus
Celebrate the season with festive professional photos during a socially distanced visit with Santa Claus.

Visit with Santa at Bridgewater Commons

Where: Bridgewater Commons, 400 Commons Way, Bridgewater
Join the Safe Santa celebration at Bridgewater! Take photos with Santa and enjoy a festive walk-through experience. Reservations required and masks must be worn throughout the entire visit and photo so make sure your mask is festive!

Holiday Market for Kids

Holiday in the Park

Visit Jolly Jamboree and Wild Lights National Park, two new holiday-themed areas at Six Flags this holiday season.

Magic of Lights
When: Now – 1/2/21, 5pm – 10pm
Where: PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel
Check out this massive drive-through event at PNC. It’s a holiday light show that’s perfect for families and for social distancing.

Springfield Avenue Open-Air Market 
Where: Springfield Ave, Maplewood
On select Saturdays for the next two months, you can visit local makers, do your shopping and listen to live music.

DiDonato’s Magical Holiday Express
Where: DiDonato Family Fun Center, Hammonton
Ride on a train through the light display and walk through the holiday village. Timed tickets required.

North Pole Express Train
Where: New Hope Railroad, New Hope, PA
Weekends from now until Christmas you can take a ride on the North Pole Express. Starting post-Thanksgiving you’ll be able to ride on Santa’s Steam Train. All require advance tickets.

Long Branch Holiday Bazaar
When: 11/27-11/29 12-5pm, then Thursdays-Sundays 12/3-12/20 12-5pm
Where: Pier Village, 1 Chelsea Ave, Long Branch
This open-air market will feature shopping, holiday workshops, festive decor, music & entertainment, holiday-inspired food & hot drinks, photos and more! Admission is free.

A Christmas Carol
When: 11/27-12/13 2-4pm
Where: Sitnik Theatre, 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown
Come see the classic Charles Dickens tale on stage during a socially distanced performance. The theatre will have limited capacity seating.

Holiday Light Spectacular

Where: The Eclectic Chic Boutique, 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair
Local shops on Bloomfield Ave, starting at the corner of Bloomfield and Maple Place will have tables, racks, vendors and wares outside for safe and social distanced shopping!

Festival of Trees
When: Wed-Sun, Now-1/10 10am-4pm (closed 1-1:30pm for cleaning)
Where: Morven Museum & Garden, 55 Stockton Street, Princeton
An annual highlight of the holiday season showcasing a juried collection of trees and mantles displayed throughout the museum’s galleries, upstairs and down. This year’s Festival opens earlier and stays open even longer into 2021!

Woven across the park’s 21 acres, this drive-thru holiday lightshow features Diggerland’s construction vehicles all dressed up with lights and garlands galore.

Christmas Underwater

Where: Adventure Aquarium, 1 Riverside Drive, Camden
See the World’s Tallest Underwater Christmas tree and Scuba Santa diving in Ocean Realm along with sea turtles, stingrays and other fishy friends.

Winter Wonderlights Spectacular

Where: 655 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick
See over 1.5 million lights animated to some of your favorite holiday tunes at this drive-thru event.

Santa Visits at Kale’s Garden Center
When: 11/27-12/13
Where: 133 Carter Road, Princeton
Santa will be visiting Kale’s Garden Center in the Greenhouse. Santa will have a face covering and seating for your loved ones will be positioned in front of Santa. Santa may also be available in the tree yard for more distancing photos.

Orchard of Lights
When: Now-12/29
Where: Demarest Farms, 244 Wierimus Road, Hillsdale
Take your vehicle on a guided tour through 32 acres of brilliant holiday light displays, warm up by the fire pit and enjoy hot cocoa and treats in the retail farm market.

Blue Cross RiverRink at Winterfest
When: 11/27-3/7
Where: 101 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA
General admission Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is free; ice skating, games and rides are pay as you go.
