Based on the theme “Gardens of Tomorrow,” the mega floral exhibit will feature gorgeous displays, workshops and presentations, a potting party for families, behind-the-scenes tours, Flowers After Hours and tons of shopping ops to bring plants home.

Off-Broadway Week is a great way to introduce your kids to stage plays and musicals in a smaller setting and at a more affordable price – you can get 2-for-1 tickets.

You’ll get to play on a professional football field and dive for the goal line if you register your team to play in the 17th Annual Snow Bowl to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey.

Heart of Oneness Holistic Expo

There will be 200+ healers, readers, crystals, unique shopping vendors, psychics and aura photography – plus lots of free workshops.

Mamma Mia!

Learn how farmers take care of horses, what jobs they can do, and what they wear. Make a horse craft to take home.

Get outside with your baby and explore your local trails. There will be some nature education geared toward the adults, and then the group will walk together with their kids.

Reptile Adventures
Bierman Centers for Autism, Princeton and Ramsey
Kids with autism can meet gentle turtles, lizards and more. They’ll take part in reptile-themed crafts and activities. There will be snacks, too.

Visit From the Horse Doctor & Shoer
Howell Living History Farm, Hopewell Twp.
Watch as a vet and dentist check on the horses to give them shots, administer medicine and trim their hooves. You’ll get to listen to a horse’s heart through a stethoscope, watch an equine dentist at work, and learn about old and new veterinary instruments and techniques. The farrier will be shoeing, and the blacksmith will be working in the forge.

Highlands Guinness Run
Off the Hook, Highlands
This is a race of a different kind. Adults will fill up their pint glasses, then race from Off the Hook to Grand Tour and back. The runner who arrives with the most amount of beer left wins. There’s a post-race party with apps and beer.

Grand Opening Celebration for HAPIK Climb Gym
American Dream, East Rutherford
Take your pick of more than 50 climbing walls, each of which has three routes up the 24-foot ropes. You can also compete in a digital treasure hunt if you want an extra challenge.

Spring Splash Art Party

Kids in grades 3-8 will meet Career Guides who will help “spark career curiosity” as they learn about healthcare, engineering, architecture, baking, public safety, wildlife and volunteer opportunities. Activities will be available for younger and older siblings, too.

Finger Puppets and Storytelling
Museum of Early Trades & Crafts, Madison
Kids ages 7-10 can create mice and other finger and stick puppets out of paper, fabric and mixed media scraps. Then they’ll create stories in a unique matchbox artist book and show off the puppets.

Girl Scout Birthday Bash on Ice
Bridgewater Sports Arena, Bridgewater
Mark the 112th anniversary of the Girl Scouts with a party hosted by Girl Scouts Heart of NJ. There will be birthday cake, other snacks and hot chocolate after ice skating.

STEM Conference: Spark Your Curiosity!
Rowan University, Glassboro
All girls from Kindergarten to 12th grade, whether or not they are Girl Scouts, can explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on workshops and engaging activities led by experts in the field.

JC’s Flea & Collectibles Market

This outdoor flea market takes over Main Avenue from Piaget Avenue to Park Slope. Shop for new to gently used secondhand items, collectibles and more. It is a fundraiser for the Clifton Recreation Department.

Bucks County Paracon

Paracon 2025 will feature a lineup of guest speakers. You will hear tales of UFO encounters, Bigfoot sightings, and other mysterious phenomena, straight from the experts. There will be vendors, food trucks, and paranormal discussions.

Pop-Fusion Expo

Meet Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and comic book artist John Hebert. Show off your best character look through cosplay. Shop collectibles and merch.

Bilingual Birdies

Kids ages 3 to 9 will dance to cumbia music during a tropical dance party that takes bilingual speakers on a Latin American adventure using puppets and instruments.

A Year With Frog and Toad: Sensory-Friendly Show

A hit on Broadway based on Arnold Lobel’s children’s books, the show has jazzy, upbeat music as the story follows the cheerful, popular Frog and the curmudgeonly Toad through four, fun-filled seasons.

Lines on the Pines

Over 80 talented Pine Barrens “celebrities” will sign their books, display their artwork or craft, play their music and share their love of the Pine Barrens. The KIDS areas will have special hands-on displays, crafts and activities.

Art Together

Art Together is a free, drop-in art workshop led by the Zimmerli’s experienced teaching artists. Families can get creative with the theme of the shifting perspectives on the environmental crisis.

Ice Skating Exhibition

See talented skaters in various performances, including group acts, synchronized skating acts, and single-program skaters.

Wayne Valley High School Spring Craft Show

Over 100 exhibitors will be set up inside one huge gym, with arts and crafts.

Veteran Committee Train Show
Manalapan Community Center, Manalapan
The Manalapan Township Veteran Affair Advisory Committee sets up model train displays every year. You can meet former New York Giant Stephen Baker, the Touchdown Maker, who will be onsite with his radio control planes and his virtual reality equipment.

Maple Sugaring
Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, Chatham
This program is held outdoors and will show you how to identify and tap maple trees, plus collect sap and make syrup over a wood-fired evaporator.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Woodbridge
Hosted by the American Irish Association of Woodbridge, the Irish flag raising takes place at 9 am at Town Hall, and then the parade will start at 1:30 pm at Woodbridge High School, marching down Main Street.

The winter version includes specials and promos at different restaurants, cafes and bakeries around the city. Save the date for the summer fest, which takes place July 5-19.

Mermaid Experience

The Road to The Big Game: New Orleans

The exhibit pays tribute to the history of the Super Bowl. See the Vince Lombardi trophy and championship rings, Katy Perry’s halftime “Firework” costume from Super Bowl XLIX, and other memorabilia. Watch past Super Bowl commercials and halftime shows, or take part in family trivia. There will be arts and crafts and a gaming facility.

Winery Weekend Music Series
Terhune Orchards, Princeton
Saturdays – Sundays, through March 30
Weather permitting, you can sit in the historic apple orchard. During cooler weather, seating is inside the wine barn with firepits, outdoor heaters, and hot mulled wine. Tasting flights of Terhune wines are available. All ages can have fun with s’mores and hot cocoa kits. The Barn Door Café will serve lunch. Live music is performed from 1-4 pm.

Charm Harbour

The seven installations are meant to look like whimsical charms or magic tokens that’ll inspire physical and mental play as you touch, climb on and take photos of the sculptures that line the waterfront.

The Cereal Cocktail Bar

The world’s first cereal-themed cocktail bar will have brunch every Saturday with Saturday morning cartoons and Y2K music.

Curious George: Let’s Get Curious! Exhibit

There are a series of immersive zones that let kids go on George’s adventures in the city, on the farm and in outer space. The exhibit includes the operation of wheels and pulleys, three holes of mini golf, a space rocket, a sidewalk produce stand, a vacation in the country, a farm visit, a city park playset, a busy wall, and a museum that has an original manuscript.

Star Light Star Bright

The neon-lit structure has over 9,000 feet of fluorescent paracord. During the day, walk through the star-shaped archway. At night, watch as the illuminated space frames the waterfront and NYC skyline.

Slow Motion

Five artists from Monument Lab in Philadelphia created gigantic, creative, introspective monuments that will be on display for their beauty, but also to address political, cultural and social issues.

Hometown Pride: The Power of Sports in Middlesex County
Cornelius Low House Museum, Piscataway

Middlesex County’s sports connections include the first-ever college football game played between Rutgers University and Princeton University and professional athletes and Olympians, Paralympians, and Special Olympians. The exhibit features items from Rutgers University, Middlesex College, several high schools, and individuals. You will see high school trophies from the 1930s to the present, NFL golden footballs for pro athletes, balls from the highest-scoring high school athletes, uniforms from the 1930s to the present, and more.
