
Pack up a cooler, load up the minivan with all the kids and take a trip the The Wildwoods to celebrate the July 4 weekend in style! Many events and live entertainment are free to attend, with a fireworks display capping off Independence Day, of course!
Parking is always free for Byrne Plaza events in the parking lots behind the shops; on the east side of Pacific Avenue, between Oak and Schellenger avenues; and on the west side of Pacific Avenue, between Oak and Wildwood avenues.
Whether you’re visiting the Wildwoods for a long weekend or staying for the whole week there’s always exciting fun to be had!
Thursday, June 30
Anglesea Night Market and Food Truck Event
Olde New Jersey Ave Entertainment District, North Wildwood

Enjoy some of the best food from the region. The event will feature award-winning food trucks, gourmet food vendors, high-end crafters, live music and art.
Music in the Plaza
Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Ave., Downtown Wildwood
7:30 – 9 pm
Bring your dancing shoes as well as a blanket or beach chair to this free concert. This week’s live entertainment is the Chicago Nine. Come early for dinner and stay late to check out the downtown Wildwood bars and ice cream parlors.
Boardwalk Parade
16th Avenue to Wildwoods Convention Center

Enjoy boardwalk parades throughout the summer with a variety of strolling musical entertainment. Parades run Monday through Thursday nights starting at 16th Avenue, marching south on the boardwalk and delighting crowds along the route to its ending location at the Wildwoods Convention Center. On June 30 the parade will feature a Philadelphia string band.

Don’t take a vacation from fitness! Work out every weekday this summer, joining Dion for bootcamp circuit training on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Dion keeps it interesting with games like fitness Monopoly, resistance band Monday and other fun and challenging themes.

Start your weekend with free outdoor entertainment. Bring your chair and enjoy the live band, food and drink vendors, lawn games and more! July 1’s entertainment is the Love Affair Band. Keep the party going and visit one of the great downtown Wildwood restaurants and bars afterwards.
Friday Night Fireworks Spectacular

Kick off the weekend every Friday as fireworks will be launched from the beach on Pine Avenue and visible from anywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! Or bring a blanket or beach chair to the Pine Avenue beach and watch the fireworks explode overhead for a thrilling experience.

Sports Card, Toys, Comics & Collectibles Show

Spend the day browsing more than 100 tables of collectibles, memorabilia and guest star appearances. On Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm special guest Gary Matthews – aka “Sarge” of the Philadelphia Phillies – will be available for autographs for a fee. Admission to the convention is free.

Sunrise on Sunday Veteran Flag Service

A ceremony will take place at sunrise to raise the casket flag of a veteran to honor and remember all veterans. Arrive 10 minutes before sunrise to participate in a 20-minute tribute and inspirational message. The Flag Raising Ceremony is weather permitting as veteran casket flags are not for all-weather; cancellations will be posted within a half hour of the scheduled service.

Independence Day Family Parade and Patriotic Pooch Parade
9th and Atlantic avenues, North Wildwood

The Wildwoods Independence Day Family Parade starts at 9th and Atlantic avenues, proceeding north to 1st and Surf avenues, featuring bicycles decorated in a patriotic red, white and blue theme. The Patriotic Pooch Parade will join in the march at 8th and Atlantic Avenues through North Wildwood. Dogs of all shapes and sizes will parade along the streets dressed in patriotic garb alongside the decorated bicycles. The parades are free to attend.
Wildwood Crest Summer Concert Series

Don’t miss this special Fourth of July outdoor concert featuring the band Don’t Call Me Francis. A free fireworks show will follow the concert. Bring a blanket or beach chair.
