The Splash Pad at Van Saun Park is Open!

Visit the newly opened splash pad and playground at Van Saun Park in Paramus.

Van Saun County Park in Paramus just unveiled a brand new splash pad, and it’s a definite must-visit! Located right next to the giant playground (also new and designed specifically for little kids), the splash pad area is lily pad-themed—complete with giant pussy willows, a turtle and, of course, a frog—and sprays light mists, perfect for kids of all ages.

There isn’t much shade from the sun, so sunscreen and water are a must, and there are no benches or changing areas, so prepare to pile wet kids in the car. Travel tip: If driving home with a soaked family doesn’t sound too appealing, stick around and visit the carousel, picnic area, playground, trails or zoo while everyone dries off!
