The Kraft Group, Inc.
Leigh Kolodny-Kraft, Founder & Executive Director LPC, LCADC, CSAT-S
What inspired you to start your practice?
The inspiration came from a need to fill a gap in mental health treatment for individuals and families. I wanted to gather together the highest level of specialized subject experts under one roof to operate as a team to meet client needs.
What sets your practice apart?
The level of authenticity and dedication brought to the table by each provider. We are best known for delivering award winning trauma, mental health, and addiction services for a wide range of individuals and their families.
What do you love most about what you do?
Knowing that we have created a safe space where no one has to suffer alone. We work hard to assist individuals in moving past any barriers that stand in the way of their recovery journey. I love to see the progress people make to heal and we feel honored to be part of that process.
What are you best known for?
Being subject experts and award winners in each of our specialties. Most importantly we are known for our integrity and authenticity. Our clients feel a sense of safety and genuine care when they walk into our offices that they often say they have not felt before. Our team is known for being passionate about and truly loving the work we do.
What was the hardest thing about getting your business off the ground?
Finding the right people who shared the same values as it pertains to client treatment. I would say the initial years are the growing pains for any business both in finding the right people who share the same values and philosophy in order to build the foundation of the business. It takes a team, not one person.
How do you juggle family and work demands?
It’s always a struggle for anyone if they are being truly honest. I try to be completely present for both family relationships and the business to the best of my ability.
What’s next for practice?
We have expanded our Special Needs division. We have found a great need to offer more services tailored specifically to the brain science behind anxiety and trauma. Utilizing those methods helps people move past anxiety and other roadblocks. The Kraft Group is all about fostering resiliency so no one has to be in pain alone.
How are you involved in the local community?
We are working in response to COVID and community crisis to provide specialized support for medical professionals and first responders to help avoid burnout and help treat second hand trauma. We have devised a program to assist these individuals to meet their needs in a safe and confidential setting.
