If you are like me, you spend SO much time and money either hunting down the perfect costume for your kid or making it from scratch — coming up with a creative, elaborate costume for yourself is never in the cards. A few years ago I came up with this brilliant idea: I went to a party and on a whim, told people I was a Muggle. From then on, a Halloween costume tradition was born. Think about it: You can wear whatever you want. People who know Harry Potter get that Muggle is a non-magical person. And all you need is a ribbon and some cardboard to create the easiest, most creative costume on the block.
