The Rock, Ribs and Ridges festival is back and is now a three day long party complete with live music from bands like The Allman Betts Band and award-winning ribbers from all over the country. Tickets can be purchased on their website and children under 3 are free.
State Fair Meadowlands

The State Fair Meadowlands is in the midst of its 24 day run with over 100 different rides and games to enjoy, plus live entertainment from acts like The Jay Mattioli Magic Show, Pirates of The Columbian Caribbean and many more. Family Fun Fest

Keansburg Recreation is hosting their 4th annual Family Fun Fest this Saturday. Food vendors, fireworks, and live music will be featured at this free event.
Broadway at the Commons

Bridgewater Commons Mall, Bridgewater
Somerset County’s newest theater company is coming to the Bridgewater Commons Mall for a fun, family-friendly musical extravaganza. Cast members of American Theater Group’s show The Bridges of Madison County will be performing some classic Broadway hits. This event is outdoors and open to the public.
Hillsborough Township 250th Anniversary Celebration

Auten Road Intermediate School, Hillsborough
Celebrate Hillsborough’s 250th anniversary with some games, attractions, live music and a bite to eat at the food tent. There will be a diorama contest where participants are challenged to create a diorama that represents a time in Hillsborough’s history. Stick around for the firework show.
Food Truck & Music Festival
Saturday, 11 AM – 7 PM
Bundt Park, Lebanon
Grab the family and the dog and head over to Bundt Park for a day of live music, games, vendors, and grub from over 20 gourmet food trucks. The little ones can enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, sand art and more. Admission is $5 and kids under 5 years old are free. Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
Allaire Music Jamboree

The Historic Village at Allaire, Wall Township
The Historic Village at Allaire is hosting a fundraiser with performances from local New Jersey bluegrass and folk musicians. While you are there you can visit the craft vendors, tour the historic village and check out some historical demonstrations. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
Kickoff to Summer Food Truck Festival

Lavalette’s food truck festival will be filled with live music and kids activities. Vendors include House of Cupcakes and Latin Bites. Kids get in free.

We Kids of Flemington is celebrating their 25th birthday and you are invited to the party. This free event features a book exchange, games, art projects, a sidewalk sale and a musical show by Mixed Up Mama.
Beachstock

Head down to Margate City Beach for “The Planet’s Biggest Beach Party”. There are things to do like volleyball, cornhole, a treasure hunt, shopping, sand sculpting, dance lessons and so much more. Food vendors and a beer garden will also be there. Admission to Beachstock is free and no beach tags are required.

Princeton’s MarketFair common area will be kicking off summer with some beautiful fresh flowers. Bouquet designing classes are also offered at 10:30 am and 12 pm. Class sizes are limited and pre-registration is required.

South Orange Village Center Alliance presents Drag Bingo Family Fun. Join the fabulous Harmonica Sunbeam for a game of bingo and get grooving with DJ Redline. This event will have fun activities for kids of all ages. Bingo is free AND you have a chance to win an awesome prize.
Firefly Festival

It’s summer, which in NJ means fireflies. Guests will enjoy live music from local band Tookany Creek Band and some classic summer favorites at Pam’s Food Tent. Children will also be make their own antennas and wings in the craft area. Admission is free and craft activities are $7.
Spring Fling Street Festival
