Kicked off by a presentation from the Mayor at town hall, this event will include an interactive art exhibit, music, and speakers. Restaurants and shops on Main Street will also be offering a “Pride Plate Special” during lunchtime.
SoHa Pride Fest

Pet Palooza – Pet Adoption and Food Truck Festival

The Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter is working together with the Atlantic Health System to find forever homes for dogs and cats. This event will include more than 15 food vendors, live music, and games and activities for all ages. There will also be a doggie agility course and a pet fashion show. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for kids at the door, or $6 for adults and $4 for kids if purchased in advance. Children under 3 get in for free.
Reptile Highlight Walk

Double Trouble Village State Historic Site, Bayville
This walk takes participants of all ages through trails to see and learn about snake and turtle habitats. The event is free, but online registration is required. The walk will be held weather-permitting (it is cancelled if there is heavy rain or thunder).
Daddy & Me Superhero Day

Liberty Hall Museum, Union
Kids and their dads will love dressing up in their favorite superhero costumes for this fun day at the Liberty Hall Museum. Participants will make crafts, try activities to test their superhuman powers, and even meet a superhero. The event costs $30 for a one adult and one child combo, and should be purchased online in advance. It is recommended for kids ages 5 -10.
Food Truck Festival

If you want to spice up mealtime on Sunday, head over to the Paramus Food Truck Festival. Gourmet food trucks and a beer/sangria/margarita garden are sure to satisfy your taste buds, and pony rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, and other fun activities are sure to entertain the kids. Admission is $5 or free for children under 5. All attendees are also asked to bring a non-perishable canned or boxed good to support the Paramus Food Pantry.
