Robotics Summer Camp

High schoolers with an interest in robotics or engineering can dorm on campus for this week-long intensive summer program that aims to help students build, program and use their own robots. They’ll learn about electrical and computer engineering, programming and more alongside professors and engineers. This one requires an application, so be sure to fill one out before spots fill up.

Rutgers’ Summer Academies offer one-week residential certificate programs for juniors and seniors ages 16-18 in Medical Imaging Technology, Pre-Engineering, STEAM and more. Students live on campus, attend presentations, go on field trips and bond with other teens during rec activities for a week. The Summer Academies programs allow students to learn from professionals, work in maker spaces and try out potential fields of interest. Registration deadlines begin May 3, depending on the session.

Students ages 16 and up can take up to two intro courses, attend college success workshops, tour the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus, go on field trips and get a jump start on their degree. Deadlines are May 25 and June 1.
