While Starbucks is of course most famous for its coffee, the tea is nothing to sneer at. While staples like the passion tea lemonade never go out of style, Starbucks released a new kind of brew on July 11: Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusions. And you can try them all in a size tall for free on Friday from 1-2 pm.
These new menu additions are all about having a “true tea experience.” In other words, the tea’s natural flavor is enhanced and complimented by a flavored herbal tea, as opposed to artificial add-ins.
These tea combos include Pineapple Black, Peach Citrus White and Strawberry Green, which were all dreamed up based on three fan-fave hot loose leaf teas. The infusions have tea, fruit and botanical blends, plus a little bit of liquid cane sugar for sweetening.
