Pennsylvania’s Easton Is Filled With Holiday Fun

This charming nearby town is filled with Christmas spirit, shopping and more.

Winter festivities won’t be quite the same this year, but Easton, PA is still trying to bring Christmas cheer. December in Downtown Easton is chock full of events, shopping and holiday cheer. And the proceeds to many events go back to the local Easton community to maintain economic stability during the pandemic.

Children will certainly be disappointed that they can’t sit on Santa’s lap, but a personalized video certainly might make up for it. On the Main Street Facebook page, you can buy a message from Santa for just $15 for your whole family. There are limited spots, so grab yours while you can. 

The Holiday Edition of the Easton Farmer’s Market is open on Saturdays throughout the month of December and filled with vendors selling holiday gifts and seasonal treats. With over 20 vendors and warming stations in between, you can go holiday shopping all day long. And the Easton Public Market will be extending its hours by opening from 9 am to 7 pm every Tuesday through Dec. 29. Double-check the hours and vendor schedules at the Market’s website before visiting. You can order online or in person, and if you’re concerned about being in crowds, the Easton Farmer’s Market is offering curbside pickup this year.

Snag one of their commemorative ornaments while there. This year’s ornament features the classic Caramelcorn Shop. You can also purchase ornaments from years past of the Farmer’s Market, Cottingham Stadium, and the Peace Candle. You can buy ornaments and gift cards online or at select stores in town. 

Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays between Nov. 28 and Dec. 20.
