Customized Orthodontic Treatment

“Being trained as an engineer has allowed me to think in a more creative and expansive way and provide my patients with customized, direct treatment plans,” says Dr. Leung, who has been nominated as a New Jersey Family “Favorite Kids’ Doc” for the past ten years. Dr. Leung strives to treat patients in the fastest and safest way possible without compromising the health of their teeth. “It’s important to choose an experienced and diligent orthodontic practitioner who isn’t only pushing nighttime or short-term treatment, as moving teeth too quickly can cause root absorption and eventually lead to tooth loss,” he says.

Dr. Leung utilizes the latest in orthodontic technology, including a digital intraoral scanner, 3D printing, clear aligner treatments such as Invisalign and ceramic braces. He is one of the few orthodontists who has embraced the latest in lingual braces technology (braces behind the teeth).

“My goal is to offer my patients customized treatment options to meet their unique lifestyles,” he says. “It’s not uncommon for me to treat the parents of my young patients once they marvel at the end result of their child’s new beautiful smile.”
