Oceanfest will return to the Jersey Shore this summer! After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the biggest Fourth of July celebration in NJ will return to Long Branch. It’s an amazing celebration that people have looked forward to since 1990.
Long Branch’s oceanfront promenade is the festive location for Oceanfest and in the past, crowds in the hundreds of thousands have come out to celebrate. This all-day family-friendly festival includes music, food, a street fair and craft sale. It’s the true essence of a Jersey summer all in one glorious day — and of course the celebration would not be complete with the most over-the-top fireworks display you’ve ever seen.
This year’s event will take place Monday July 4th from 10 am – 10 pm with fireworks at 9 pm at 1 Ocean Blvd in Long Branch. Attendees can stroll the famous beachfront, enjoy world-class performances from musicians and dancer, be amused by clowns and other musical acts and dine on a variety of different foods from various vendors. The crafts for sale here are some of the most unique on the east coast. There’s even sand sculpture and special appearances from costumed characters.
Oceanfest is brought to you by the Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce and the City of Long Branch and is made possible with the support of such corporate sponsors as Monmouth Medical Center, Ocean Place Resort & Spa and Monmouth University, as well as through the generosity of numerous individuals and businesses in the local area.
