The Greater Bridgeton Amish Farm market is a local fave, where fresh food is served and events, such as pig roasts, craft shows and festivals, are held from Thursday to Saturday. Farm culture strongly influences Hopewell’s restaurants, such as the farm-to-table Brick Farm Tavern, which features both Troon Brewing and Sourland Mountain Spirits on the premises.
Hopewell has 130 acres of parks for locals to explore. Naturalists adore the scenic views of the Cohansey River, Bostwick Lake Park and Sunset Lake. You might even spot a bald eagle at the Cohansey River Wildlife Management Area, where many endangered species set up camp. A few more pluses to Cumberland County?
