Monet’s Garden: The Immersive Experience, an exhibit dedicated to the founder of Impressionism is a multi-sensory outing that’s sure to leave an impression on kids and adults!
Immersive experiences are popular right now, but what’s unique about this one is that it plays on the senses of sight (the paintings) and sound (classical music), but also smell – the gardens you walk through are lavender-scented! It’s the first time an immersive experience in the U.S. has used this technique.
Whether you’re looking for an art experience for your kids, want to plan a date or are just a lover of Monet’s artwork, you’ll find yourself lost inside some of the artist’s most beloved paintings, such as his gardens, sunsets by the bay or iconic landscapes. Most people recognize the water lily paintings, which are featured in a room of their own.
If you have family visiting from overseas, this is a great attraction to visit because it offers narration in Spanish, French, Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese.
Monet’s Garden: The Immersive Experience is produced by Alegria Entertainment, Inc., with assistance by Swiss creative lab Immersive Art AG. There are exhibitions all over Europe, but the U.S. premiere is in NYC’s Financial District at 30 Wall St.
