Michelle Hawthorn: The Fiesta Box helps busy grown-ups create special memories for themselves, their kids and families by curating quality, unique party goods and packaging them into on-trend themes for all holidays and occasions. Whether it’s for the dinosaur-loving tot or the ballerina-obsessed birthday girl, we coordinate the pieces to make your day special.
NJF: Where do you find the inspiration for each box?
MH: I have a close network of friends and family that I constantly pepper with questions and ideas. I love incorporating other small businesses and creators who I know pour their hearts into what they do. These collaborations usually create amazing ideas for unique touches in each themed box, especially for holidays.
NJF: What are your best sellers?
MH: My best sellers have been holidays, like Christmas and Valentine’s Day—they’re always such fun. Space was a big theme last year, and of course, anything rainbow!
NJF: How do you balance motherhood with your business?
MH: I try to prioritize the time I can guarantee to The Fiesta Box with what needs to get done. I also enlist my kids to help with jobs like folding boxes, sorting crafts or helping me think of ideas they would like to see. My older son came up with “The Fun Box.” He creates activities, boxes them complete with materials and instructions and gives them to his classmates.
