Nothing screams warm weather like catching a flick at New Jersey’s only drive-in movie theater, and now it’s open for the season. Head down the Turnpike to catch a movie at the Delsea Drive-In in Vineland.
Pick from new releases like Beauty and the Beast, Logan, Kong: Skull Island and Get Out which play on one of two humongous screens. Pro tip: bring a blanket and some pillows for little ones, so they can snooze once it gets close to bedtime.
There’s also a large menu (outside snacks aren’t permitted) with several gluten-free options. Choose from traditional off-the-grill munchies like hot dogs, burgers, mozzarella sticks and cheese fries or go the healthier route with a cucumber salad sandwich or shrimp and brown rice.
And you can’t argue with the price. Adult tickets are $11 a pop for TWO movies, kids 4 to 11 are $6 each and kids under 3 are free.
FYI: Most movies start at dusk, or around 7:15 pm, so make sure you arrive ahead of time to get a seat!
