The Kraft Foods Group issued an announcement of a voluntary recall of close to 6.5 million boxes of their Kraft Macaroni & Cheese original flavor due to the possibility that they contain small pieces of metal. Yikes!
What should you look for to know if your boxes are part of the recall?
- They are the 7.25 ounce boxes.
- They have "best when used by" dates of Sept. 18, 2015 – Oct. 11, 2015.
- All the boxes have the code "C2" below the date on the package.
- Some were sold as part of multi-pack units, which may have different dates, so make sure to look at each box individually.
- They boxes were sold in the US, Puerto Rico and in some Caribbean and South American countries, but none were shipped or sold in Canada.
