We’re so psyched for the July 2020 opening of LEGOLAND New York Resort in Goshen, NY. The Hudson Valley theme park just revealed a first look at its LEGO Factory Adventure ride, and it has some never-before-seen technology that’ll blow the kids away.

The ride takes guests through the process of becoming a LEGO brick. Using the world’s most advanced motion tracking and facial detection technology, riders are transformed into personalized LEGO Minifigures. Yup, that’s right: The kids will get to see a freakishly-accurate LEGO version of themselves! The transformation is so on point that it’ll nail everything from their faces to their clothes to their glasses.

Riders will also meet tons of characters while the ride chugs along. Halfway through, the vehicles will spin the guests in front of a screen, where they’ll see the ride transform into LEGO bricks and other elements, just before they see themselves transform. Minifigures will even move like its respective guest. The transformation takes less than half a second.

Once completed, LEGOLAND New York Resort will be the largest LEGOLAND ever built. You and your crew will be able to experience more than 50 rides, shows and attractions over seven themed lands. Annual passes are on sale now, starting at $119.99. Single-day tix start at $62.99.
