Learning Happens One on One at Fusion Academy

Joanna Gagis sits down with the Regional Managing Director to learn about this unique teaching style.

Jennifer Walsh-Rurak describes Fusion Academy as "revolutionary." All instruction happens between one instructor and one child, no matter the subject. For every hour a kid spends with a teacher, they get an hour in the homework cafe, the social hub of the campus. That totally differs from the traditional classroom setting of one teacher and many kids. One on one teaching makes it easy for professionals to identify gaps in learning for students, which means those gaps can be addressed.

Joanna Gagis talks with Walsh-Rurak about the institution, its philosophy, how kids are benefited by the Fusion environment and more.
