Halloween isn’t just for the kids. If you’re ready for a night out, book a sitter and head to one of these Halloween parties sans kids.

October 20

HalloWINE on Haddon
Haddon and Woodlawn Avenues, Collingswood
Visit businesses as you go on the grown-up Trick-or-Treat Trail, and you’ll get samples, coupons, Halloween-themed menu items and drinks, giveaways and more. Then, watch an outdoor showing of “The Shining” as you sip on NJ wine and beer. S’mores and popcorn will be available. You are encouraged to dress up.

Spooky Disco
Bell Works, Holmdel
DJ Skillz will spin spooky beats at night at Bar Bella.

Halloween Chocolate Paint & Sip
Calandra’s Cucina Executive Lounge, Fairfield
Paint on a 5-by-7 chocolate canvas while sampling special chocolates from 2 Chicks With Chocolate and inspired bar bites paired with Calandra wine samples.

October 26

LSC After Dark: Spooky Social
Liberty Science Center, Jersey City
Be there for the ultimate 21+ Halloween party, which includes a Lady Gaga Laser Show, Monsters of the Night Sky planetarium show, dance floor and live DJ, costume contest, Spooky Drag Show with Megami and La Zavaleta, and food and drinks.

October 26-29

Fringe: Alone, The Stories of Edgar Allan Poe
Kutz Theatre, Hackettstown
This will be a multi-disciplinary immersive show bringing six stories and poems by Edgar Allan Poe to the stage, including The Raven, Tell Tale Heart and Annabel Lee.

October 27

Halloween Ladies Night
Mathis House, Toms River
While eating from the buffet, listen to live music, take a tour of the inn and do some shopping. Enter the costume contest to receive a Christmas Tea for two.

Franken-Wine
Cream Ridge Winery, Cream Ridge
The Franken-Wine Sangria Party will be held outside and inside for people 21+. There will be fire pits, a pizza truck, of course, sangria, and a screening of the movie “Frankenstein.” Come in costume.

Halloween Disco Party
American Hotel, Freehold Borough
DJ Joe D will provide classic songs plus Halloween hits. Prizes will be awarded for best costume.

October 28

Brews & Boos Pub Crawl
Haddon Township
Participating bars and breweries include PJ Whelihan’s Pub, Brewer’s Towne Tavern, The Taproom and Grill, Treno Pizza Bar, The Pour House, Keg and Kitchen, Central Taco & Tequila, and Tom Fischer’s Tavern. Halloween costumes are encouraged but not required. There are no cover charges or tickets required for the Pub Crawl; this is a pay-as-you-go event. The Jitney service is free and will take you to all the different pubs.

Halloween Costume Party
DRIFTHOUSE by David Burke, Sea Bright
This adults-only party features a full buffet by Chef David Burke and drinks, or you can skip dinner and head right to the party to hear The Get Down Committee perform. There will be a costume contest.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
State Theatre New Jersey, New Brunswick
You’ll get a goodie bag of props to use during the screening of the movie. Dress up as your favorite character from the film for the Time Warp Costume Contest. The Generation Gap Band will perform prior to the show.

Trunk-or-Treat
West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood
Toddlers through fifth graders should show up in costume for some super-fun trunk-or-treating and a costume parade. There will be DJ music, donuts and apple cider.

Halloween At The Pub
The Shannon Rose Irish Pub, Clifton and Ramsey
This party is for adults only. There will be live music, a costume contest and beer specials.

Sin AC
Showboat Atlantic City
Bottle service and VIP options are available for one of the largest Halloween parties in the country. Two thousand people are expected to attend this nighttime, adults-only party that is hosted by Official JT, celebrity judges and some of the hottest DJs on the East Coast.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show”
LeVoy Theatre, Millville
In this cult classic movie, sweethearts Brad and Jane, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite scientist. Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters. The movie is interactive, and prop bags will be sold.

October 28-29

Boos & Booze Brunch
Kona Grill, Woodbridge
The Welcome Back Pumpkin menu will be available. There will be a live DJ playing Halloween-themed music. A costume contest will be held all weekend.
