How Much Snow Can You Expect From Winter Storm Octavia

Another storm is headed our way, should you get the snowblower ready?

If your kids aren't on a winter break right now, chances are they'll be getting a day off for snow if Winter Storm Octavia delivers on its promise. (If you are one of those people on winter break in warmer climates posting sunny pictures—we're totally jealous right now.)

In addition to today's super brisk temperatures (Trenton reached a record-breaking low temp for February 16), Octavia is expected to bring even more snow to New Jersey.

Snowfall will begin late this evening in central and southern parts of the state, where 4–6 inches of snow are predicted. And snow will start after midnight in northern Jersey, with the National Weather Service forecasting 2–4 inches. Snow will fall until Tuesday morning in some areas.

Oh, and bad news for those down in Cape May County, where a bigger total of close to 8 inches is in the forecast.
