Frida Kahlo is one of the most influential artists in modern history. You can learn about her life story through a combination of digital art, historical photographs, projections, installations and virtual reality experiences in a new exhibit, “Frida Kahlo, The Immersive Biography.”
This co-creation between the Frida Kahlo Corporation and Spain’s Layers of Reality uses seven different spaces that allows visitors to enter Frida’s life and works through the technology of VR.
The tour will head across the US before leaving for Latin America later this year, so now may be your only chance to experience the famed Mexican artist’s works in this unique format.
“Frida Kahlo, The Immersive Biography” opens Oct. 27 at the Immersive Pavilion, 261 Water St., Brooklyn, NY. Brooklyn is only the fifth city to welcome the exhibition, which is presented by Primo Entertainment and Loud And Live. Tickets for adults start at $38.99. VIP tickets and virtual reality add-ons are available for anyone in your group who is interested in taking an even deeper look into Frida’s world.
