GREAT NEWS: You Can Now Get Sesame Street Episodes for Free

All you need is a library card for free access to a bunch of digital content

The Sesame Street fans in your house are in luck. Sesame Street recently announced an agreement with Hoopla Digital, a streaming service (just like Netflix or Hulu) that’s partnered with libraries across the US to give free digital access to thousands of music, movies, TV shows, comic books, e-books and more.

All you need to gain access to this awesome service is a library card. Card holders can instantly enjoy Sesame Street episodes, e-books and comics using Hoopla on their computers, tablets or smartphones.

"With Hoopla's reach and our engaging materials, we can extend Sesame Street's laughter and learning to more children, helping us fulfill our mission to help kids everywhere grow smarter, stronger and kinder," Jennifer A. Perry, Vice President & Publisher of Worldwide Media Distribution for Sesame Workshop said in a press release.

The service also offers a “Hoopla Kids Mode” feature, which lets families search and access kid-friendly titles without stumbling across anything inappropriate. Library-card holders can download the free hoopla app on their Android or IOS device or visit hoopladigital.com to get started.
